Ready to Move On
When your baby begins to lose interest in pureed baby food at about 12 months, it's time to introduce toddler foods like Beech-Nut® Let's Grow!™ products. Finger foods such as small, soft bite-sized whole foods are great at this stage. Just remember to keep objects to a half inch in diameter, at most, to prevent choking.
You’ll know your baby is ready for the next feeding stage when:
- He is no longer a baby, he's a toddler!
- He begins to lose interest in pureed baby food
- He can eat with a spoon
- He can chew
