Beech-Nut® Nutrition Company to Host Drive-Thru, Food Distribution Event on 9/29/22
AMSTERDAM, NEW YORK – For the sixth year in a row, Beech-Nut Nutrition Company is hosting its “Beech-Nut Gives Back” drive-thru food distribution event for local families in need. In past years, Beech-Nut’s employee volunteers distributed food to over 1,000 families.
Date: Thursday, September 29, 2022
Time: 2 pm - 6 pm (or until supplies run out)
Location: Beech-Nut Nutrition Company, 1 Nutritious Place, Amsterdam, NY
Details: Free & open to the general public, the “Beech-Nut Gives Back” event is a drive-thru food distribution event. Products will include Beech-Nut jars and pouches, fresh fruits and vegetables from regional farms, and shelf-stable pantry items from the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
Attendees should stay in their cars and are asked to have space cleared in their backseats or trunks to receive food packages prior to arrival. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department will be present to help attendees follow the traffic patterns throughout the distribution route.
