From time to time, that means making updates to our products—whether it’s a new product, a refreshed recipe, a packaging change, or, in some cases, saying goodbye to a product.
We know these changes can affect your little one’s feeding routine—especially when it’s a favorite your little one loves or relies on. That’s why we’ve created this page, From Our Family to Yours: Brand Updates: a dedicated space to keep you informed and in the loop.

The End of an Era
Effective December 2024, we will be discontinuing our cereal products. This change is part of our ongoing effort to streamline our product offerings and focus on the areas where we can deliver the most value to the families we serve—our glass jars, pouches, and snack products. This focus will allow us to keep raising the bar on quality and innovation for every stage of your little one’s feeding journey.
The cereal items that will be discontinued:
- Cereal Conventional Oatmeal
- Cereal Organic Oatmeal
So long, Cinnamon
Effective May 2025, Beech-Nut made the decision to remove cinnamon from all our products. We carefully and continually evaluate every ingredient we use to ensure we uphold our commitment to providing high‑quality, safe, and nutritious foods for our consumers. This change reflects our ongoing dedication to that promise.
Seven of our products have been reformulated to remove cinnamon from the recipe. While you may notice a subtle change in flavor, we’ve taken great care to ensure each of the new recipes still offers the same delicious taste your little one loves.
Kosher Certification Change
Effective May 2025, we have made the difficult decision to stop Kosher certification for our last remaining Kosher jar puree items. We understand the certification’s significance to the Jewish community, which is why we had kept the program for years. We will not be certifying our products as Kosher under another certification authority.
New Look, Same Beech-Nut
You may have noticed some recent design changes to our packaging. We’ve refreshed our look to make it even easier for you to spot us on the shelf. Our brand name is now bolder and more eye-catching, helping you find us at a glance. Plus, we’ve enhanced the images of the real ingredients inside so you can see exactly what makes our products so delicious. We hope you love the new look as much as we do, and that it makes your shopping experience even better!
QR Codes Provide Access to Heavy Metal Testing Results
California is requiring all baby food companies selling products in the state to disclose heavy metal testing results for lead, arsenic, cadmium & mercury for each product batch produced on or after 1/1/25 on their website. Beech-Nut products made in 2025 will have a QR code for you to scan and look up batch sample testing results representative of the package you hold in your hand.
Beech-Nut has chosen to meet this standard nationally, so parents and caregivers across the country will have access to this data.
