This is a different review, as I am the parent of not an infant but a fur-baby; my ten-year-old cat was diagnosed with diabetes three months ago, and since he is used to snacking periodically throughout the day (likely WHY he is diabetic!), I've looked for healthy alternatives for him. My vet recommended a Beechnut competitor's brand as the one cats prefer, but it says it is turkey in gravy, so it contains starch, plus my cat would not even sample it! He gobbled down his Beechnut turkey! I feel good about the fact it contains NOTHING but turkey and is a healthy option for a diabetic, as it contains no carbs; it's also great because it is relatively low in fat and calories. He now gets his cat food with his insulin twice a day supplemented with a half jar of baby turkey in between times. He's happy and healthy and his coat is glossy again. (My ONLY complaint is that I bought 18 jars [all the same lot] that were half water; Beechnut sent me coupons for replacements, so I'm happy, but I hope someone figures out what went wrong with quality control. I drain off the 3 Tbsp.+/- of broth, and Thumbuddy eats the rest as normal.)

My 8 yr male cat had a bladder blockage and two UTIs- he is on a high moisture raw food diet, but still needs more fluids. He won't drink plain water, broths, or goat milk, so I had to figure something out fast! I read about a cat owner giving her cats Beech Nut beef & beef broth because this brand doesn't add any flavoring or seasonings. I give him 1 teaspoon of food plus 2 tablespoons of purified water before each meal (morning and evening). His lab markers for hydration the past year are great! He used to have the Turkey & Turkey broth- but a test showed he's allergic to turkey. I am so grateful that Beech Nut has this product! It is a game changer!

Probably not helpful for human moms, but my cat has CRF and often doesn't feel well. It's really rough on her system if she doesn't eat, so I started offering baby food on the recommendation of her vet. It definitely does the trick! And it doesn't contain any added salt, onions, or garlic, which is all bad for cats. I recommend it to anyone with a sick kitty. I just wish I could find it easier. My store is always LOADED with vegetable foods, and usually out of meats.

My little dog loves this! He’s on a special diet and limited to treats. This was recommended by a board certified veterinary nutritionist. No onions or garlic :)

My daughter has FPIES and is unable to have wheat, rice, or oats. This eliminates giving her iron-fortified baby cereals for her development. We are able to give her Beech-Nut meats to provide iron. Competitors, such as Gerber, use corn starch in their baby meats and she is unable to have corn. I am a Pediatric Feeding Therapist and Mommy to three under five. I love beachnut and can always trust the quality organic ingredients. Recently, I became a mommy to a fur baby, a 12 wk old bengal kitten who has major GI issues and was severally under weight. All hypoallergenic kitten products on the market are not human grade for protein or they do not contain enough crude protein and fat percentage for a kitten. I was concerned about adding homemade protein or broth into her diet and it being to much sodium. So I thought outside of the box and tried beachnut turkey as a additive to her fresh food. She loves it and is gaining weight! Thanks always having the right quality products for my patients, babies, and fur baby!

I raised three human babies. One of those babies was allergic to corn but we did not even know until he was 4 years old! It wasn't sugar making him act out it was corn and tomatoes. If it isn't needed don't added to your baby food. So thank you Beechnut. I am now a furry Mama to a baby Westie with Cushing's and this is just what she needs for high protein but low fat that I can trust.

Hey maybe you should start a new line for PETS! My Finlay lost 25% of his body weight from an intestinal tumor, won't eat regular dog food, but eats this and likes it. Now he is gaining back some weight!

My 13 year old Siamese seal point who is fighting her pre-kidney disease ....she stopped eating solid food. So I bought her the turkey, chicken and beef broth and she is eating them. I have to add a supplement Taurine power to the mix which all cats need in their diet. Thank you for making this product and please dont discontinue this product because it is saying lives. Also can you make bigger jars for us pet owners
