4 Easy Baby Breakfast Cereals (In 5 Minutes or Less)

Berry Zucchini Breakfast Cereal

This easy baby breakfast cereal is made with a heaping serving of mixed berries, zucchini and wholesome oatmeal cereal. Since it’s filled with a good amount of fiber, folate, iron and vitamins A, D and E, it’s the perfect meal to start off baby’s morning! A combo that’s both colorful & delicious will definitely please your baby’s taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (thawed if using frozen)
  • 1/2 medium zucchini, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Beech-Nut oatmeal whole grain baby cereal™
  • 1/4 cup warm water, breast milk or formula

Instructions:

  1. Place the berries, zucchini, cereal and liquid into a blender or food processor.
  2. Purée for 30-60 seconds or until completely smooth.
  3. If breakfast cereal is too thick, add in more liquid- 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

Age: 7 months and up
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 8 ounces
Storage: store in an air-tight container in the fridge for 3 days or in the freezer for 3 months.

Banana Coconut Breakfast Cereal 

This fun and flavorful breakfast cereal is made with banana, coconut milk, oatmeal cereal and a pinch of cinnamon. For an out-of-this-world banana pie taste sensation and extra special treat, serve it gently warmed. Since this cereal is also full of fiber, potassium, healthy fats and protein, your little one will be healthy and happy all morning long.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/4 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup Beech-Nut oatmeal whole grain baby cereal ™
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Place the banana, coconut milk, cereal and cinnamon into a blender or food processor.
  2. Purée for 30-60 seconds or until completely smooth.
  3. If breakfast cereal is too thick, add in more coconut milk 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency. You can also smash this recipe with the back of a fork for a chunky breakfast cereal.
  4. Simply place all the ingredients into a medium bowl and smash with a fork until everything is combined.
  5. Serve or store right away for best results.
