COVID-19 | Beech-Nut’s continued dedication to you
We’re all living in unprecedented times as we adapt our way of life in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. The Beech-Nut® team wants to reassure you that you and your little ones are at the center of everything we do. With that in mind, we want to share the actions Beech-Nut® is taking in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
1. Increasing our support for No Kid Hungry
School closures as a result of coronavirus mean millions of vulnerable children are at risk of losing access to the healthy food they depend on every day. As an organization fighting child hunger in America, No Kid Hungry is focused on ensuring resources get diverted to help families find meals while schools are closed. Beech-Nut® has been a been a proud supporter of No Kid Hungry and their mission for a number of years because we believe every child deserves access to real, healthy food. To help fight the hunger crisis during this outbreak and all year long, we’re contributing an additional $50,000 of support to No Kid Hungry. 2. We are continuing to produce our foods
We understand that your child’s health and nutrition is your highest priority, it’s ours too. That is why we are devoted to continuing to produce our wholesome foods during this crisis. We have enacted even more rigorous health and safety precautions to ensure our passionate and dedicated employees can continue to make the simple foods your little one depends on. We will continue to follow the guidance of local and national health officials and we will take every step possible to ensure the well-being of our associates, their families, our community and the families we serve.
3. We are working with retailers to make sure you can find us on shelves
We recognize that it has been difficult to find our products on store shelves recently. Our team is working around-the-clock alongside our retailer partners to restock the shelves as quickly as possible. With our focus on restocking the shelves, we unfortunately do not have the capability to ship directly to parents’ homes. If you cannot find baby food at your local store, we encourage you to look into ordering online from sources like Walmart.com, Target.com, and Instacart, or you can use our “Where to Buy” tool to find alternative stores in your area.
Finally, if you are having a tough time putting food on your table, please reach out to your local regional food bank. Beech-Nut® donates food on a regular basis to help ensure that all children get access to the healthy food they need to thrive.
