Apple, Pumpkin & Granola Purée

Organic S2 apple, pumpkin & granola purée

¾ Cup Water

2 Cups of Homemade Apple Puree

1 Cup Pumpkin Puree

Cup Baby Rolled Oats

1 ½ Tablespoons Barley Flakes

½ Tablespoon Amaranth Flour

Ground Cinnamon to taste


Combine both barley flakes and rolled oats into blender. Blend for about 10-15 seconds; pulsing or until they are at least ½ the original size. Put the water in a saucepan and add the oats, flour and barley flakes. Bring the water close to a boil while stirring. Turn the heat off, cover the saucepan and let the oats cook in their own steam until soft (about 10 minutes). Stir in pumpkin and apple. Finish with a dash of cinnamon. Place in ice cube trays and freeze or keep in refrigerator for 4 days, enjoy!
