Nightlight for Baby DIY

Nightlight for Baby DIY

Looking for a way to reuse your glass baby food jars? This easy DIY helps you turn them into cute night lights that are perfect for your little one’s nursery or child’s bedroom. We went with a cute stellar theme, but you could use whatever shapes and colors suit your decor! Maybe: under the sea, floral, holiday, or even letters to spell out your little one’s name! Show us your ideas by tagging Beech-Nut® on Pinterest or Instagram!

What you’ll need:

  • Beech-Nut® jar, with label removed (soak it in hot soapy water for 20 minutes and then peel off the label and use an adhesive remover to remove any residue)
  • Spray paint
  • Stickers
  • LED tea light

What to do:

On the clean jar, place your stickers. Then spray paint over them on all sides of the jar (and the bottom!), trying not to let the paint drip. Let it dry.

Peel off the stickers!

Add the LED tea light, and then place finished nightlight in your little one’s bedroom! (Please don’t use a real candle, which could be a fire hazard.)

Time to turn out the lights! We can’t promise this night light will keep the scary monsters at bay, but we can promise it’ll look cute and hopefully inspire some sweet dreams! <3
